About us

From first steps on the ice to real tournaments.

Our Story

Link Nest Play was born out of a deep love for hockey and a shared desire to give everyone a chance to experience the thrill of playing on the ice. It started as a small initiative by a group of enthusiasts in Toronto who got together for morning practices just for fun. Over time, the number of people wanting to learn and improve their skills grew, and the small club turned into a full-fledged school. Today, we combine modern training methods with the proven experience of the Canadian hockey tradition.

For us, hockey is not just a sport, but also a way to develop strength of character, discipline, and team spirit. We are proud to have created a space where children, teenagers, and adults can unlock their potential, regardless of whether they are taking their first steps on the ice or already have experience. Our approach is based on individual attention, support, and continuous improvement.

The main goal of Link Nest Play is to help each student develop comprehensively: from skating technique to understanding team strategy. We want every player, regardless of age and level, to find a source of joy and confidence in hockey. It is important for us not only to teach sports skills, but also to build character—discipline, respect for teammates, and the ability to work in a team. We believe that hockey develops leaders and inspires achievement both on and off the ice.

Liam Thompson

Our Team of Coaches

We have assembled a team of specialists who have a genuine passion for hockey and many years of experience working with students of various skill levels.

Liam Thompson – head coach and strategist of the school. Former player in the Canadian junior leagues, he combines the classic Canadian school of hockey with modern methods of developing speed and technique.

Ethan Walker – physical training coach. He creates programs for developing endurance and strength so that every player feels confident in any game situation.

Olivia Bennett – mentor for younger groups. Her unique approach and ability to explain complex movements in simple terms help the youngest players quickly fall in love with hockey.

Noah Carter – goalie coach. He specializes in developing reaction, speed, and mental toughness, preparing goalies for the most challenging games.

Our Approach

We combine the classic Canadian hockey school with innovative training methods that include on-ice and off-ice work, individual development plans, and special training for different positions.

It is important to us that every player feels supported, learns to work as a team, and enjoys every session. Link Nest Play is not just a hockey school. It is a community where character is formed, love for the game is born, and future champions are created.
